I have read The Lacuna and enjoyed it very much. So glad it won!

I read and blogged about all six of the books and my favourite was The White Woman on the Green Bicycle. The Lacuna was ok, but it took me more than half the book to figure out what the heck was going on and what the book was about. That doesn't make for a prize winner in my opinion.

Also read two of the books nominated in the new writer category.
